Christine is Associate Principal and Senior Director of Business Development, Asia Pacific, with 30 years of experience in the design industry.
Truly international on both personal and professional levels, Christine connects with clients from diverse regions. Born and educated in Hong Kong, Christine moved to the USA after her formative years to complete her professional education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Cornell University there and later attained a Master’s degree at the University of Leicester in the UK. Her career has straddled Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the USA. Serendipitously, her first interior design project involved a design collaboration with WATG’s architectural design team for the Merchant Court Hotel in Singapore.
At WATG, Christine partners with principals to strategically develop business opportunities in the region, covering Southeast Asia, South Asia, and extending to the Middle-East.
Christine is attuned to international business culture whilst being sensitive to regional cultural nuances. With her knowledge, strategic, perceptive and creative problem-solving mindset, she successfully uncovers clients’ true needs and strives to provide win-win solutions together with the team.
