Bally’s Atlantic City Renovation

Bally’s Atlantic City embarked on a transformative renovation project in 2022 to elevate its guest experience by revamping its guestrooms, suites, and introducing a one-of-a-kind Carousel Bar. The project aimed to create a fresh, contemporary atmosphere that blends Atlantic City’s coastal charm with modern luxury, enhancing both comfort and aesthetic appeal.

The newly renovated guestrooms and suites at Bally’s Atlantic City were designed to capture the essence of the city’s iconic beach and boardwalk. Inspired by the soothing coastal environment, the design team implemented a modern yet inviting aesthetic featuring contemporary flooring with carpet inlays, sleek tiled bathrooms with spa-like showers, and modern vanities with backlit illuminated mirrors.

The renovation also focused on upgrading the hotel tower’s corner deluxe king rooms, junior suites, and penthouse suites. These high-end accommodations now boast separate living and sitting areas, dedicated dining areas, wet bars, and premium amenities.

A total of 505 guestrooms and 16 suites were transformed, including updates to corridor spaces, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for guests. The redesigned spaces create a year-round summertime feel, enhancing guest satisfaction and reinforcing Bally’s reputation as a premier Atlantic City destination.

Phil’s Carousel Bar is a striking addition to Bally’s Atlantic City, offering a unique blend of nostalgia and innovation. The design is inspired by the classic amusements of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, with the bar itself serving as a centerpiece. The rotating 24-seat bar, the first of its kind in New Jersey, provides a 360-degree view of the casino and adjacent spaces.

The design incorporates a warm color palette and rich wood tones to evoke timeless boardwalk attractions. Curved lighting fixtures and glass railings create an inviting yet exclusive atmosphere, while subtle lighting effects mimic the glow of illuminated carnival rides, enhancing the whimsical appeal.

The Carousel Bar has quickly become a must-visit attraction, drawing both guests and visitors into a dynamic, immersive environment that blends classic elegance with a contemporary twist. The integration of the bar into the hotel’s newly renovated lobby space further elevates the guest experience, reinforcing Bally’s status as a destination for luxury and entertainment.
