21. ROSEWOOD PUEBLA, MEXICO
Located in the heart of one of Mexico’s most significant colonial cities, Rosewood Puebla honors the region’s rich colonial heritage through authentic design and memorable experiences that are anchored in the proud traditions and accomplishments of Mexico. Comprised of a collection of historical buildings from various eras surrounding a picturesque private courtyard, Rosewood Puebla integrates modern elements with traditional craftsmanship and materials, such as the city’s famed Talavera ceramics, into its design while showcasing Mexican furnishings and works of art. Rosewood Puebla features 78 rooms and suites, indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, an indulgent spa and a rooftop pool with stunning views of the city and surrounding volcanoes. A vision of contemporary living, guests are greeted by a courtyard layout inspired by that of an indigenous yurt. The avant-garde interior combines modern and neo-classical elements with over 400 pieces of contemporary art created by both local and international artists.
